Applying for Membership

Thank you for your interest in joining Stratford-on-Avon Golf Club. Our Club was founded in 1894 and is situated near to the centre of the world famous Shakespearean town and offers many benefits.

Members participate in the rich history of the Club, following in the footsteps of Samuel Ryder - Captain of the Club 1929/30 and play at a venue where the top golfers of the era were invited to play.

The course, designed by F G Hawtree and J H Taylor (five times Open champion) is set in 150 acres of picturesque parkland and offers a rewarding challenge to golfers of all abilities.

The course is set on level terrain, on fast draining sandy soil thus allowing play in good conditions throughout the year.

A full programme of competitions is arranged throughout the year for all sections of the Club including mixed golf and friendly matches against other Clubs in the locality.

The Club enjoys first class social and catering facilities in a well appointed Clubhouse.
