Yesterday I met up with many of our members who had played at your club last week and received many very complimentary comments from them. From the efficiency of the young man preparing the bacon rolls, the excellence of the course condition to the quality of the meal and service thereof I think we can say that they would all like to visit SOAGC again. Good Morning it was our great pleasure to play your course yesterday. We are a long established society and have played many venues over the years but we have never played a course better than yours it was simply magnificent the greens were superb the members were welcoming and friendly and the staff were excellent 10 out of 10 from us - Hartlebury Golf Society

I just thought I would drop you a line and thank your golf club, from all of our society that visited on Friday. We all had a very special time. A personal welcome from you, a magnificent golf course in fabulous condition and to top it off a delicious meal and great service by Sue. Please thank the catering staff on our behalf. We had a wonderful day at yours despite the drizzle. We thought the course was one of the best presented we have played for a long time. The greens were superb although nobody mastered them. The welcome by all staff we met in clubhouse and pro shop, the service and food was exceptional - Midlands England Golf society.

Just a note to say thank you very much for all you and your staff did on Saturday to make us feel welcome. The A La Carte menu and seating was appreciated by everyone.
It was a lovely venue for us to meet, looking over the golf course, and to have the room from 11.30 to 3.30pm made it special when we don't see much of each other. It made it a special 70th birthday celebration which I shall remember. Ian
- Can I just say on behalf of all those who attended our golf day on Friday. Firstly you as the first contact with Stratford Golf Club, very professional, very courteous and a nice person to deal with, with nothing too much trouble. Secondly the catering staff and the quality of food is first class excellent, everytime we visit you get better. The carvery is excellent and a really good idea which keeps everyone happy. The condition of the course for the time of year in March is without doubt the best course we play. Marsksman as a golf society has been in existance for in excess of 25 years, playing around 12 different quality golf courses here and abroad per year. Your ground staff have a pride in their work and are always pleasant and acknowledge you. As you can tell everything is of the highest quality, with markers freshly painted, rubbish bins emptied, paths are clear of rubbish and finely edged, even the ball washers have water in them! Small details like the presentation of the tee boxes, the rough cut at an even height between the trees which helps speed up play. Bunkers are raked with proper sand in them and at the right depth. The greens are quick and true and the hole liner you have inserted is a nice touch celebrating your 125th Anniversary. We will be back next year - Marksman Golf Society.
- As Chairman of the Bubbenhall Golf Society I wanted to write on behalf of the society's members to say thank you for the excellent hospitality afforded to us recently. All staff we encountered without exception were a credit to your Golf Club, from Arthur who as well as greeting us on arrival was a friendly and informative starter. The catering staff were very polite and attentive and provided an excellent service at breakfast. The golf course itself was in excellent condition, which is credit to your ground staff and the service we received after the game in the bar from Shirley and her team was also excellent. I had several of our members comment to me on the day confirming the above, which is why I wanted to personally send this email on behalf of the society - Bubbenhall Golf Society.

I would like to thank you and your staff on behalf of all the seniors from Maxstoke who came to Stratford yesterday. As you are aware, the weather and traffic trying to get to you was awful, but the way you all rallied round on our behalf, to ensure we had a great day, was absolutely brilliant. This includes Liz from your Admin team, your professional, catering staff and the ground staff. Meeting your Seniors Captain as well enabled me to talk to him about possible matches in the future. Their work, on our behalf, made sure that we all had a wonderful day and this was appreciated very much. Please pass on our thanks and very best wishes to all of the above and to anyone else that I have missed out - Maxstoke Seniors Captain Away Day.
