Craig Brown
General Manager
As General Manager, Craig is responsible for the whole golf club operation; he oversees the four key departments of the club office, F&B, the golf course and service provisions provided by the Head Professional. Craig is well placed as our General Manager as he is an experienced manager of three previous private members’ clubs, as well as being a PGA Professional and a present member of the GCMA Midland Region Management Committee.
Liz Deacon
Events & Membership
Liz is responsible for organising and hosting golf days, processing all membership enquiries and is an important team member, assisting in the smooth running of day-to-day activities within the golf club.
Carol Baker
Club Administration
Carol handles our general office administration, which includes processing invoices and payments, dealing with office enquiries and looking after the club’s payroll. Carol is an important member of the team and after 10 years at the club she has a wealth of knowledge.
James Cleaver
New Course Manager
James is due to join the team in July 2026 following his move from Stratford Oaks where he has been an integral driving force to the current standard of golf and playing surfaces on offer. The team at Stratford on Avon look forward to his arrival.
Julian Dodsworth
Head PGA Professional
Julian has been the Club Professional since March 2008 and has been developing golfers within the community ever since. His experience and deep understanding of the game allows Julian to offer valuable insights to players at various skill levels and his expertise and time at the club have helped him tailor his coaching techniques to the needs and aspirations of the players he mentors.
Morgan Jackson
PGA Professional (Coach)
Morgan has recently joined the Professional team at Stratford following an impressive few years building a comprehensive client base in the local area along with an impressive Junior Academy.
Morgan offers coaching available to all, from swing-focused range sessions to on-course playing lessons, Morgan is especially keen to keep developing Junior rising stars through the academy at Stratford.
Professional Team
Sean leads the professional shop team, in charge of the retail business which consists of team members, Harry, Jack and Charlotte.
Clubhouse Team
The team is led by Bar Manager Shirley Hughes who has been looking after the members of Stratford for approaching 20 years, fair to say she is an integral part of the team.
